Shrimps forever shrimp lollipop astaxanthin are characteristic red shrimp lollipops with a high content of astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is the most powerful colour enhancer and will increase the color coverage, lead to tighter lines and much clearer patterns.

Astaxanthin is a substance which particularly strengthens the red colouration in shrimps and therefore is very useful for, for instance, Crystal red-, Wine red-, red pinto shrimp etc. Astaxanthin is structural related to the well known β-carotene, zeaxanthin and lutein, but has a 10  times greater effect than the beta-carotene. As a result astaxanthin is the strongest, natural colour enhancer.

Astaxanthin not only provides the intensisty of the red colors but also leads to more pigment for all shrimp, for all colours. More pigment means a brighter and more intensive colour for the shrimp. Moreover astaxanthin has a vitamin-effect and thus a positive effect on fertility and the immune system of the shrimp.

Dosage

Use this as additional shrimp food. Approximately 1 lollipop per 50 shrimp. You can give a lollipop 1-2 times a week. It can remain in the aquarium until the food share has been eaten of the lollipop.
