Catappa & natural products aquarium

Catappa leaves and bark are often used in the aquarium. Catappa has an antibacterial effect and helps prevent diseases. Besides that catappa can be used as natural decoration and supplementary feed for aquarium shrimp and bottom residents.

All our natural products like pods and bark are rich in tannins. These tannins lower the KH en pH in a natural way and color the water in the aquarium slightly brown. This helps recreating the natural habitat and helps preventing harmful bacteria en diseases in a natural way.
